Data processing

Privacy notice

This site collects very little, and this page says exactly what. It describes what the site actually does: if that changes, this page changes with it.

Who processes your data

The data controller is GBH Football Prediction Staff, reachable at info@gbhfootpredict.com for any request concerning your data, deletion included.

If you do not register

You can browse the whole site — probabilities, matrices, historical reliability — without leaving any personal data. No account is needed and we do not create one for you.

The matches you star stay in your browser’s storage and are never sent to our servers: change device or clear your browser data and they are gone. It is also why, without an account, we cannot restore them for you.

The server logs the requests it receives, with IP address, time and page. They keep the site running and protect it from abuse, are kept for a limited time, and are not used to profile anyone.

If you register

We ask for an email address and a password. The password is never stored: the server only keeps a cryptographic fingerprint of it, from which the password cannot be reconstructed.

We also store the language you are using — so we write to you in the right one — and the matches you choose to follow, so you find them on every device.

The legal basis is the contract: these are the minimum data needed to give you the service you asked for. We keep them for as long as you keep the account, and delete them when you delete it.

Emails

After you register we send one email, to confirm the address is yours. It is necessary to the service and does not require consent.

Editorial emails — what we predicted for a match you follow and how it went, or the weekly summary — reach you only if you expressly ask for them, through a separate box that is never pre-ticked. You can change your mind at any time, from your profile or the link at the foot of every email.

Advertising

The site carries Google AdSense ads. To serve them, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar identifiers, including to measure and — if you consent — personalise the ads.

The choice is yours and we ask first, through the consent panel shown on your first visit; you can change it any time from the same panel. Without consent the ads stay but are not personalised.

We receive no personal data from Google, and we pass Google neither your email address nor the matches you follow. How Google handles this data is set out in its own notice, at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Who else sees your data

Nobody beyond those we need to run the service: the provider hosting the server and the one delivering the emails, both bound to process the data only on our behalf.

We do not sell data, do not pass it to betting operators, and do not use it for anything other than what is described here.

Your rights

You can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and you can withdraw any consent you have given at any time.

Deleting your account is immediate and you do it yourself from your profile: it removes the address, the password fingerprint and the matches you follow, with no long-term backup copies.

For anything else write to info@gbhfootpredict.com. If you believe the processing is not lawful you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

What comes next

The app ships when the numbers are ready to stand comparison.

iOS and Android, free. Until then the work continues where it counts: collecting data every three hours, retraining the models every Monday and building up the track record that makes everything else verifiable.
